Homeclean

I booked Home Clean to clean the new home I was moving into as I am eight months pregnant so could not physically do the cleaning myself. I met a seemingly lovely cleaner named Lorraine who seemed extremely friendly and kind.

I instructed that the bathrooms and kitchens needed to be cleaned and said that I would like the oven cleaned as well. I said to use the rest of the time cleaning whatever else could be done in the house. To her credit, Lorraine cleaned the oven very well, however, the bathrooms were not even cleaned to a basic standard. There was dirt and grime left all around the inside and outside of the toilet in each room and all along the walls, floor and tiles.

I gave Lorraine the opportunity to come back to clean the bits she had missed which she refused to do. In fact she did not even reply to my message. Similarly, the company refused to send Lorraine back to the property to complete the work she had been paid to do. I therefore had to clean both bathrooms myself the following day, taking two hours to clean each one and using a packet of antibacterial wipes on each along with bleach.

This is after having already paid £100 for the service. Clearly the toilets could have been easily cleaned to an adequate standard but had simply not been touched at all. I then raised my complaint with Home Clean but both Shannon and Nicola in the London and Manchester offices were unsupportive and unhelpful in dealing with the issue. They instead continued to support Lorraine and say that it was acceptable to leave the toilets in such a way.

This company clearly has no pride or integrity and they are rip off merchants.

They do not care about or value their customers in any way. Avoid at all costs!!!

i have always cleaned my house myself, but recently i have become very busy looking after my parents and dont tend to have anywhere near as much time on my hands. i found Homeclean and decided it was worth giving them a try.

the cleaner arranged to meet with me beforehand to discuss every single detail like where needed to be cleaned and the timings and just basically everything - i thought this was great as it stops them wasting your time and i knew exactly the service i'd be getting. i was completely unsure at first as i like to do my cleaning myself so i know it's done correctly, but i was actually very surprised by the quality and am defiantly going to set up to use homeclean from now on more regularly.

Cleaner was very nice and professional. Arrived on time. Finished on time. Customer service great.

Decided to have a regular cleaner after the first clean, as we were so happy with results. I have never had a cleaner before. I do not know if many of you had. But it was very interesting to have one.

I think the only other time I have had a cleaner, is in a hotel. But I have not stayed in that many hotels, so my experience is limited. So as I say if you have not had a cleaner yourself, maybe you should try it. Also I thought it would be very expensive.

But it was not. The thing is that it saved me a lot of time, so in theory I could spend that earning additional money, if that makes sense.
